Find us ……The Taff Trail for walkers and cyclists…
From Cardiff/Castel Coch direction, continue towards Taffs Well Railway station then opposite the station car park take the slip path back on to the trail continue along until you get to the old railway cottages (Rhymney cottages) just after turn left down the lane we are at the bottom on your left over looking the taffs well football club field up towards the Garth mountain.
By Car from tha A470 or from Taffs Well -Cardiff road….
off the A470….Umber & Sienna may be reached by car by taking the Castell Coch/Tongwynlais exit from the A470 (first junction after the M4 motorway going north). At the roundabout take the second exit and after 200 metres where the road splits take the right fork (A4054 – Cardiff Road). Turn right at the traffic lights at Taff’s Well railway station (on left) and follow the road to the mini roundabout, fork left. At the next mini roundabout, go straight ahead up the slope to the T junction. Turn right. Continue down the slope and turn right just after the football ground (opposite Glan-y-Ffordd) The entrance to umber & sienna is at the end of the the lane -Parish Road
Taffs Well – Cardiff road
Driving through Taffs well on Cardiff road, drive all the way through the village (taffs well playing field, the school and pub will be on your left hand side) you will then come to Glan-y-llyn, (Fagins Inn is on your left), turn right into Moy road, follow the road towards Rhiw-Ddar, continue down the slope and turn right just after the football ground (opposite Glan-y-Ffordd) The entrance to Umber & Sienna is at the end of the the lane (Parish Road.)
